By giving to the mahJ, you will be enabling a unique museum, dedicated to furthering knowledge and appreciation of Judaism’s cultures, to enrich its collection and develop its cultural and educational activities for the widest possible public.

The Fondation Pro mahJ works in partnership with the museum. Its role is to support the museum’s activities and exhibition and publishing programmes, enrich its collections and receive donations to the museum. The foundation is a state-approved, not-for-profit organisation.

If you pay taxes in United States

you can make a donation to the American Friends of the mahJ, held by the King Baudouin Foundation United States (KBFUS), a 501(c)(3) public charity and you will receive the maximum tax benefits allowed by U.S. tax law for your contributions: I want to make a donation

If you pay taxes in France

gifts to the mahJ are made via the Fondation Pro mahJ, a state-approved, not-for-profit organisation, which entitles you to significant fiscal advantages:

  • Your donations are income tax-deductible up to 66 % of the amount and up to 20 % of your assessed revenue (if this percentage is exceeded the deduction can be spread over the following five years). For example, a donation of 1,000 € will cost you only 340 €
  • If you are subject to wealth tax on real estate, your donation is tax-deductible up to 75 % of the tax paid, with a maximum of 50,000 €. Therefore a gift of 1,000 € will cost you only 250 €.
